An offer is a configured promotion. It defines what benefit a customer gets and under what conditions. A coupon is a single instance of an offer, allocated to one customer. It is what gets redeemed at checkout, under its own validity period and redemption limits. The two are closely related — a coupon is a customer-bound instance of an offer — and both ultimately drive the discount applied by Lobyco’s discount calculation services.

Where offers are managed

Offers are managed in the Promotions Portal. They can be used as regular loyalty offers, or as rewards inside engagement products such as Games, Challenges and Sticker Campaigns. Lobyco can run the whole flow — creating the offer, allocating coupons to customers, redeeming them at checkout, and calculating the discount once integrated with your POS or e-commerce checkout. If your own promotions system already owns the offer logic, the Promotions Portal can be used more narrowly: import offers from that system, then enrich them with customer-facing content such as images and terms and conditions.
