Use an imported customer list instead of a segment

Feed a campaign from a file of customer IDs rather than a segment.

Sometimes the audience is decided outside Lobyco — a list from a partner, a store’s own selection, a one-off export. The Seed block takes a file of customer IDs as the campaign’s input, in place of a Member Segment block.

What you’ll build

Steps

1. Start a new campaign

   Open the Campaigns tab and select Add new campaign.

2. Add a Seed block and set it to file mode

   Upload the file of customer IDs. See Block reference.

3. Add a Split block and connect it to the Seed block

   In this example the imported customers are grouped by age.

4. Run the campaign

   Wait for the execution to finish, then download the outcome and check the results.

A Seed block replaces the Member Segment block as the campaign’s input — it does not sit after one.
